Neesham replaced fellow New Zealand allrounder Corey Anderson, who has been asked by his country’s board to withdraw from the tournament due to concerns over his fitness.”We could not have asked for a better replacement for Corey,” Roger Harper, the Guyana Amazon Warriors coach, said. “Jimmy is a great fit for the Amazon Warriors, and we look forward to seeing the excellent form he displayed in the recent Test series continuing in the CPL.”Neesham, who hit a hundred and two half-centuries in the recently-concluded three-Test series, has two fifties in his 36-match T20 career, but it is his strike rate of 149.85 and his medium-pace bowling that makes him a like-for-like replacement for Anderson. He has also been entrusted with the responsibility of opening the innings during the current two-match T20 series between West Indies and New Zealand. Zimbabwe coach Stephen Mangongo has denied excessive heavy handedness in the suspension of Tinashe Panyangara from the national squad. Panyangara will not feature in the remainder of the triangular series against Australia and South Africa after what ZC’s press release described as “indiscipline” and what Mangongo explained as being “unacceptable by any stretch of the imagination.”Panyangara’s crime was sharing a video with his team-mates via WhatsApp of Mitchell Johnson battering England with a barrage of short balls .”In any sport, to post a video of the opposition annihilating another team will not be tolerated. I was perplexed that a senior bowler behaved in such a childish manner,” Mangongo told ESPNcricinfo. “On the eve of such a serious match, you don’t do that.”Zimbabwe’s batsmen have been concerned with the reputation of opposition bowlers from the start of their incoming tours this winter. Some were concerned about whether Dale Steyn would play for South Africa during the one-off Test. They had heard that the speedster may be rested and were hopeful they would not have face him. Steyn played and claimed a five-for but Zimbabwe’s batsmen acquitted themselves fairly well against him.However, during the opening game of the tri-series on Monday, Zimbabwe’s batsmen were hesitant to put bat to ball if it came out of Johnson’s hand. We are not going to be missing Dale Steyn. Taylor was dropped for the final match against South Africa after scoring just 20 runs in the previous two games while Vusi Sibanda has been put on the sidelines twice in the last month. “Nobody is safe” is Mangongo’s mantra and this time, it was Panyangara’s turn to learn that.

كشفت تقارير صحفية عن تصاعد جديد ضد لاعب فريق مانشستر يونايتد، جادون سانشو، في ظل الأزمة التي يعاني منها نتيجة هجومه الشديد ضد المدرب إريك تين هاج.

كان تين هاج قد استبعد سانشو من مواجهة آرسنال، في وقت سابق من شهر سبتمبر، حيث خسر مانشستر يونايتد بثلاثة أهداف لهدف.

وبرر تين هاج موقفه بكون سانشو لم يقدم الأداء المطلوب في التدريبات، وهو ما دفع الإنجليزي إلى إصدار بيان هجومي عنيف، حيث وصف نفسه بـ”كبش فداء”.

ورغم أن سانشو حذف بيانه الهجومي، بعد مرور عدة أيام على إصداره، إلا أن موقف تين هاج تجاهه لم يتغير، حيث يغيب بشكل كامل عن الفريق الأول، ويتدرب فقط مع لاعبي الأكاديمية.

ولكن يبدو أن الأمر لا يقتصر على هذا فقط، حيث ذكرت صحيفة “ميرور” الإنجليزية أن جادون سانشو ممنوع من استخدام كافة مرافق الفريق الأول في مانشستر يونايتد.

وأوضحت أن هذا الأمر يتضمن كذلك مرافق تناول الطعام الحديثة التي يستخدمها نجوم الفريق الأول، حيث أجبر سانشو على تناول الطعام جنبًا إلى جنب مع لاعبي الأكايمية.

ويُقال إن سانشو غير سعيد نتيجة منعه من الوصول إلى جميع مناطق الفريق الأول، لكنه يرفض الاعتذار للمدرب.

كما اعترفت مصادر داخل انلادي بأن الوضع بين سانشو وتين هاج قد وصل إلى طريق مسدود، مع عدم وجود طريق للعودة أمام اللاعب سوى أن يقدم اعتذاره للمدرب.

وقال مصدر في مانشستر يونايتد: “هناك طريقة سهلة لحل هذا الموقف، وهي أن يقول جادون آسف للمدرب، يجب أن يقدم شيئًا ما”.

The bottom-of-the-table hosts were dismissed for 138 in 36.4 overs, with New Zealand allrounder Ryder taking 5 for 50.And by the time a heavy rain shower ended play half an hour early, Essex had reached 153 for 3 to lead by 15 runs, with Ravi Bopara and James Foster still together having shared a fourth-wicket stand of 58.It was Ryder’s third five-wicket haul of the season and only Dan Redfern, who made an unbeaten 54, showed any real resistance on a green looking pitch that offered plenty of encouragement to the Essex seam bowlers.Graham Napier took 3 for 43 and David Masters 2 for 43 as Leicestershire lost eight wickets for 90 runs in the pre-lunch session after being put in to bat. It required some spirited hitting from tailenders Charlie Shreck and Atif Sheikh to take the total beyond the 100 mark. Shreck made 16 in a ninth wicket partnership of 34 – the biggest of the innings – while Sheikh contributed 12 to a last wicket stand of 14.The only other batsman to reach double figures was opener Greg Smith, who made 26 before edging a catch to Foster off Masters. The seven other Leicestershire batsmen mustered just 21 runs between them.Ryder ripped through Leicestershire’s top and middle order with his accurate medium-pace swing bowling, taking five wickets in an unbroken 14-over spell before lunch. He trapped Angus Robson, Niall O’Brien and Jigar Naik lbw, bowled Josh Cobb with a delivery that nipped back and had Rob Taylor caught at first slip.Then Napier chipped in with the last three wickets, despite being hit for a six by Redfern who reached 50 off 65 balls with six other boundaries. His effort was the only bright note in an otherwise disappointing batting performance by Leicestershire.In contrast the Essex openers, riding their luck at times, put on 47 in 18 overs before Taylor had Tom Westley lbw with a fine inswinging delivery for 24. Westley should have been out without scoring but was dropped at slip by Smith off Shreck. Taylor struck again in the same over with another lbw decision going in his favour when he rapped Jaik Mickleburgh on the pads.Shreck finally picked up the wicket he deserved when O’Brien took a good catch behind to remove Nick Browne for 44. But there was no further breakthrough for Leicestershire as Bopara and Foster took control. Foster was unbeaten on 36 with six fours and a six and Bopara’s 33 came off 95 balls.Essex head coach, Paul Grayson, said: “I was delighted to see some grass on the wicket because we desperately need a result. And our three seam bowlers all stepped up to the plate and delivered for us.”

وعن تشكيل الفريق ضد نابولي، قال: “هناك شكوك بالنسبة لي حول أكثر من لاعب، علينا أن نختار الأنسب للمشاركة من حيث التعافي والجاهزية التامة”.

وعن كيفيك إيقاف هجوم نابولي، قال: “إنهم فريق هجومي وأظهروا قوتهم الهجومية في الموسم الماضي، لديهم خصائص مختلفة ويقومون بالعديد من الأشياء التي تصعب الأمور على الخصم، كفاراتسخيليا جيد في المواجهات الفردية، وأوسيمين مهاجم قوي للغاية، ويتحرك كثيرًا، علينا إيقافهم ونحن قادرون على ذلك”.
