كشفت تقارير صحفية إنجليزية عن احتمالية نقل فعاليات كأس العالم للأندية لهذا العام، 2021، إلى دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة مطلع العام الجديد.

وكان من المفترض إقامة بطولة كأس العالم للأندية 2021 في اليابان، خلال شهر ديسمبر المقبل.

ولكن قرر الاتحاد الياباني لكرة القدم تقديم اعتذار رسمي عن استضافة مونديال الأندية لهذا العام، بسبب تفشي فيروس كورونا في البلاد (لمطالعة التفاصيل من هنا).

وتسبب ذلك الاعتذار في انتشار التكهنات حول هوية البلد المستضيف لبطولة كأس العالم للأندية هذا العام، حيث ذُكرت العديد من الدول مثل المملكة العربية السعودية وقطر والإمارات، بل وكذلك جنوب إفريقيا والبرازيل.

ولكن صحيفة “ميرور” الإنجليزية ذكرت أن هناك احتمالية أكبر لاستضافة دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وتحديدًا أبو ظبي، لفعاليات كأس العالم للأندية نسخة عام 2021.

وأفادت أن البطولة المرتقبة قد تنطلق في شهر يناير، بداية العام الجديد، بدلًا من شهر ديسمبر لهذا العام.

ولم يتحدد حتى الآن كافة المتنافسين في كأس العالم للأندية، حيث تأهل فقط الأهلي المصري بطل إفريقيا، وتشيلسي بطل أوروبا، وأوكلاند سيتي بطل أوقيانوسيا.

وفي حال استضافة الإمارات لبطولة كأس العالم للأندية، سيشارك بطل الدوري الإماراتي موسم 2021/22 في البطولة وهو نادي الجزيرة.

Não é de hoje que os jogos de futebol às 22h causam polêmica entre torcedores brasileiros. Desta vez, uma campanha criada por pessoas ligadas a torcidas organizadas e não-organizadas promete bater de frente com a CBF e a Rede Globo em busca de uma limitação de horário para as partidas.

A campanha “Jogo 10 da noite, NÃO” foi criada na primeira semana de setembro. Em menos de um mês, a página no Facebook já conta com mais de 5,2 mil simpatizantes. Fora da internet, torcedores também já aderiram: inúmeros adesivos e até algumas faixas já foram vistas em arquibancadas.

Quem está por trás da mobilização são participantes de um coletivo chamado Futebol, Mídia e Democracia, que visa discutir relações entre mídia e futebol. O grupo defende, entre outros tópicos, o fim da centralização de poder da Rede Globo na definição dos horários dos jogos. O principal motivo para a manutenção das partidas às 22h é a transmissão da novela das 21h.

Em entrevista concedida ao LANCE!, Thiago Cassis, coordenador do coletivo, explicou a motivação para a criação da campanha:

– O futebol é uma construção do povo brasileiro. Por que um jogo em um estádio lotado é tão bonito? Porque as pessoas nas arquibancadas trazem as cores para o futebol.

– A campanha trata de defender a essência do que fez o futebol brasileiro se tornar uma referência no mundo todo. Ou seja, o futebol como verdadeiro esporte do povo. E, portanto, acessível ao povo, inclusive às pessoas que não têm muito dinheiro.

Os principais problemas ligados às partidas das 22h dizem respeito ao período pós-jogo. O apito final acontece próximo da meia-noite, e torcedores que saem dos estádios encontram dificuldade para utilizar transporte público. A falta de segurança por conta do horário é outro questionamento.

FIM DOS JOGOS ÀS 22H JÁ FOI PROJETO DE LEI

A polêmica envolvendo os jogos das 22h não é recente. Em 2011, a Câmara Municipal de São Paulo aprovou um projeto de lei que estipulava 23h15 como horário máximo para o término das partidas. A ideia, porém, foi vetada pelo então prefeito paulistano Gilberto Kassab.

Em 2014, a Câmara dos Deputados chegou a analisar três novos projetos de lei que visavam limitar o horário dos jogos em âmbito nacional. Mais uma vez, não houve avanço.

Ao assumir a presidência da CBF, em abril deste ano, Marco Polo Del Nero chegou a sinalizar o fim dos jogos às 22h. A ideia seria propor à Rede Globo partidas às 21h30.

Everton appear to be closing in on their first signing of the summer – if fresh reports are to be believed.

According to Saturday’s print edition of Il Mattino, via CalcioNapoli24, the Toffees have improved their offer for Allan and their chances of landing him are ‘becoming a reality.’

It’s claimed that the Merseysiders have now submitted a bid of €38m (£35m) after having €25m (£23m) rejected in recent weeks.

Everton have been long linked with a move for the Brazilian lynchpin, which is hardly a surprise given Carlo Ancelotti managed him at the Serie A outfit last season.

Allan is in line to land himself €4.7m-per season (£4.3m) at Goodison Park.

Gueye replacement

This move would be the perfect way to kickstart Ancelotti’s revolution in Merseyside as the club have failed to yet replace Idrissa Gueye.

His void in midfield has arguably been felt the most with both Tom Davies and Andre Gomes, the regular duo in the middle, failing to impress on a consistent basis.

Neither player is averaging above a drab 6.45 rating by WhoScored nor have they managed more than 1.2 tackles per game either.

The 29-year-old, however, has recorded over double that this season, averaging 2.6 tackles per game – in addition to an 86.7% passing accuracy rate too.

His natural style has led to comparisons to Arturo Vidal and it’s easy to see why following praise from Brazil head coach Tite, who said: “Allan is good in transition, going box to box, leading counterattacks and breaks. He’s mobile and brings protection defensively.”

Allan should be well-received at Goodison too as he’s twice silenced the nemesis from across the road, Mo Salah.

Earlier this season in the Champions League, Ancelotti’s Napoli rocked the Reds with a 2-0 victory to kickstart the group stages, which followed on from last season’s 1-0 victory too.

Back in September, Allan recorded three tackles and one interception whilst Salah managed a disappointing 6.04 rating after just one shot on target, via WhoScored.

He’d be a fantastic addition for the Toffees and Marcel Brands’ fresh attempt is hugely encouraging news.

Manchester United may be hit by a ‘surprise’ in their pursuit of Jadon Sancho this summer, according to reports.Â

German newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung claimed, as cited by The Daily Star, that Borussia Dortmund believe they can force Man United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to cave into their demands by paying £110m forÂthe 11-cap England international.

While Woodward has made it clear that he will not pay over the odds for the right winger, Dortmund are confident he will surprise them by meeting their asking price.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made the 20-year-old his top target in the summer but both clubs remain far apart in their valuations, even though he has apparently agreed personal terms with the Red Devils.

Dortmund have also issued a deadline of August 10 to sort out a deal for Sancho before the Bundesliga challengers return to pre-season training, and it seems as though time has almost run out.

However, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that both clubs remain locked in negotiations, which “needs time” to find satisfactory solutions.

The Italian transfer guru added that the Englishman is willing to wait and see what will happen, admitting that he would love to join the Red Devils in the summer.

Despite conflicting reports suggesting otherwise, it appears nothing much has changed as they are still trying to figure out a suitable fee. Daniel Geey noted that, as transfers get more complicated, deals can take a significant amount of time to sort out the finer details.

Sancho’s potential move to Old Trafford is not an easy process by any stretch of the imagination, as discussions over fees, employment contract, image rights and third-party investments are most likely taking place behind closed doors.

With so much work to get through, it is hardly surprising that the two sides are yet to reach an agreement. Put simply, fans simply have no other choice but to stay patient, as there are bound to be more developments in the weeks ahead.

وقال ميدو في تصريحات تلفزيونية بفضائية “النهار” عبر برنامج “أوضة اللبس”: “هل المدربين في مصر انتهوا حتى يكون هناك دائرة مغلقة على بعض المدربين المرشحين لتدريب المنتخبات الوطنية، ويتم التدوير بينهم دون النظر إلى الآخرين؟”.

وأضاف: “هل الجودة أو النجاح هما المعيار الوحيد لاختيار مدربين المنتخبات الوطنية، هل الأساس في مهنة التدريب في مصر خاصة فيما يخص اتحاد الكرة يعود إلى أهل الثقة أم الكفاءة؟”.

واستكمل: “إعادة تعيين شوقي غريب لمنتخب مصر الأولمبي قرار مستفز للرأي العام، هناك غضب في الشارع المصري بسبب هذا القرار، وقعت فضيحة في تصفيات أولمبياد أثينا 2004 تحت قيادة شوقي غريب، وخسر المنتخب بأحد أفضل أجياله في جميع مبارياته لأول مرة في التاريخ ليتذيل مجموعاته، وكان يجب في تلك اللحظة على شوقي غريب الابتعاد عن اتحاد الكرة تمامًا والتفكير في أسماء أخرى”.

David Weir, Brighton’s pathway development manager, feels that Albion youngster Max Sanders will have benefitted greatly from his loan spell at AFC Wimbledon last season.

The ex-Rangers and Scotland defender was reflecting on the respective loan spells of those players who had time away from the club in 2019/20 and, speaking to the Seagulls’ official website, he had a clear message for the 21-year-old midfielder.

When talking about Sanders, Weir said: “It was his first loan and he went to a team that were in a bit of a relegation fight, so there is a lot of emphasis on getting points from each game which took Max a little while to adapt to. But after that period of adaptation, he got himself into the team and finished the season really strongly.

“It was a really beneficial loan for him and I think he will have learned lots of lessons and will have definitely improved from that experience. What happens next is up to him.”

Sanders played 22 times during his loan spell at the League One outfit, scoring once and providing two assists. He enjoyed regular game-time with the Londoners, making 18 league starts for Glyn Hodges’ side.

The 21-year-old has accrued plenty of experience at youth and reserve level for Brighton, with six goals and six assists in 48 matches for the under-23s. He has been on the bench for three first team fixtures but is still awaiting a senior debut for the Seagulls (as per TransferMarkt).

During his time with AFC Wimbledon, the midfielder proved to be a steely presence, winning 1.9 tackles per game, while a match average of 1.1 key passes indicated that he can make effective use of the ball when in possession.

In 2019/20, only four players at Brighton had a better tackles per game ratio (2.2 was the joint-highest figure), while just three players surpassed Sanders’ match average for key passes, as per WhoScored. Therefore, the youngster may feel that he could hold his own in Premier League company.

Weir’s assessment of Sanders seems a fair one – the midfielder’s spell at AFC Wimbledon offered him his first taste of senior football and he appears to have acquitted himself well, albeit in the third tier.

The Brighton pathway development manager’s comment that the 21-year-old’s future is in his own hands was also striking – having seen the likes of Tariq Lamptey and Alexis Mac Allister break into the first team at the Amex Stadium, Sanders will realise that there are opportunities for youngsters to get their chance under Graham Potter, if they can earn the manager’s trust.

That should offer him a massive incentive to prove to his boss next season that he can be a worthy addition to the Seagulls’ first team.

Arsenal are looking to bolster their squad for the 2020/21 season and Mikel Arteta is reportedly being talked into signing two players from a fellow London club in the Championship.

According to 90min, the Gunners are planning to raid Brentford for two of their players, namely winger Said Benrahma and goalkeeper David Raya.

The report suggests that Raya is being targeted as a potential replacement for Emiliano Martinez, who could leave if he is not guaranteed consistent football, while 25-year-old Benrahma has also been recommended after a prolific 2019/20 campaign for the Bees.

If Martinez leaves, then Raya would seem to be a good replacement as his statistics from last season suggest that he would be solid cover for Bernd Leno. The 24 year-old played in all 49 league games for Brentford, including the play-offs, and only conceded 42 goals, whilst also managing 16 clean sheets, per Transfermarkt.

Meanwhile, there is no doubting the quality that Benrahma has as last season he managed 17 goals and nine assists, per Transfermarkt, along with averaging 3.8 shots, 2.1 key passes and three successful dribbles per game, via WhoScored.

Even though they were playing in the Championship, the two would add more than useful squad depth to the Gunners and, if the north London side can get them for a good price, then a possible deal seems like a no-brainer.
