تستعد أندية الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، لنهاية سوق الانتقالات الصيفي، اليوم الجمعة، ومن المتوقع أن يتم الإعلان عن رحيل عدد من اللاعبين عن أنديتهم والتعاقد مع آخرين جدد.

فترة الانتقالت انتهت في أوروبا يوم الاثنين الماضي، لكنها ممتدة في إنجلترا بين الأندية من الدرجات المختلفة حتى اليوم الجمعة.

ومع انتهاء الموعد النهائي المحلي يوم الجمعة، قد يكون لدى تشيلسي عدد من اللاعبين المستعدين للمغادرة بحسب ما أفادت صحيفة “ميرور” البريطانية.

قضى تشيلسي صيفًا استثنائيًا بعد إنفاق أكثر من 200 مليون جنيه إسترليني على سبعة لاعبين.

Liverpool’s lack of strength in depth in advanced positions has been masked by the brilliance of Mo Salah and Sadio Mane over the course of the past two seasons, but Jurgen Klopp needs to rectify that problem to keep in touching distance of Manchester City next season.

What’s the word?

Well, according to a recent report from Het Nieuwsblad, Klopp has already set the wheels in motion to add a quality talent to his forward-thinking options.

The report claims that the Reds are interested in Borussia Monchengladbach’s Thorgan Hazard, and the Bundesliga outfit want the 26-year-old attacker to move to Anfield instead of Borussia Dortmund, another interested party.

However, crucially, Hazard is eager to acquire regular opportunities and he views Dortmund as the destination which offers him greater guarantees of first-team football.

Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic deal is key

It’s easy to sympathise with Hazard’s feeling that Liverpool may not offer him the opportunities he naturally craves at this stage in his career. Mo Salah and Sadio Mane are practically untouchable in their respective wide positions, and dethroning them would represent a monumental task for him to undertake.

But the situation is less complicated at Dortmund, especially now Chelsea have agreed to sign Christian Pulisic in a stunning £58 million. Not only was the deal stunning in the enormity of the transfer fee, it was one which very few had seen coming when the deal was announced.

Jadon Sancho has represented Dortmund’s first-choice attacking wide player for the majority of the season so far, while Pulisic, Jacob Bruun Larsen and Marius Wolf have all been vying for a spot in the starting XI.

The soon-to-be Chelsea talent has endured a stop-start season through injury but his departure undoubtedly leaves a gap in Dortmund’s squad which needs to be filled, and it appears Hazard, who has scored 12 goals in all-competitions this season, has been identified as the man to step into the USA international’s shoes.

Neither Larsen or Wolf have done enough to prove they are ready to cement a place in the starting line-up, leaving Dortmund with a place which is blatantly up for grabs.

At Liverpool, meanwhile, Xherdan Shaqiri has been a bit-part player at best and his inability to hold a place down in Klopp’s XI proves that opportunities are not easy to come by. Naby Keita has also struggled for regular opportunities since making his move from the Bundesliga, and his career will hardly be filling Hazard with deep enthusiasm over a potential switch to Merseyside.

There is compelling evidence to suggest that, in comparison with Liverpool, Dortmund will offer solid assurances over a regular starting berth next term – a notion that has been enhanced by Pulisic’s decision to move to Stamford Bridge.

Barcelona are interested in signing Marcus Rashford from Manchester United, according to Marca.

The Catalan side are said to be monitoring replacements for ageing forward Luis Suarez.

The aforementioned report claims that Barca want to secure back-up to Suarez, who will turn 33 next year.

A move for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic has been shelved, however, and Barca are scouting other targets, with Rashford on a shortlist including Valencia’s Rodrigo Moreno and Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann.

It is not mentioned how much Barca would be willing to pay for the England international, though Transfermarkt value the 21-year-old at £72million.

Indeed, Rashford has been an explosive presence in United’s team since his first-team breakthrough, scoring 45 goals and laying on 26 assists in 163 outings.

He has also won 31 caps for England already and was a member of the squad that reached the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup.

No price is good enough

Rashford is the undisputed jewel in United’s crown.

Some would argue that Paul Pogba is more valuable monetarily and that may well be true but in terms of his contribution and the adoration for him among fans, no other player comes anywhere close to Rashford.

It makes sense, then, that Barcelona are interested. Rashford is, after all, a gifted forward player, capable of playing anywhere across a front three, and versatility is an asset highly prized at the Camp Nou.

But there is simply no way that United could replace him.

Rashford has been at the club since he was seven, and will surely want to help his boyhood side return to the top of the Premier League table one day.

If that is to happen, United simply must ensure he stays for a few more years yet, and keeping him this summer now takes top priority over the future of the inconsistent Pogba.

وتحدث معه في بعض الأمور المعينة لتطبيقها الفترة المقبلة بمواصلة العمل بقوة.

وخصص الجهاز الفني برنامجًا خاصًا لمصطفى محمد مهاجم الفريق على هامش المران.

وأدى اللاعب بعض التدريبات التأهيلية بالركض حول الملعب، أعقبها بعض التدريبات بـ”الجيم”.

وواصل محمود حمدي الونش مدافع الفريق البرنامج التأهيلي والعلاجي الموضوع له من قبل الجهاز الطبي للفريق، وذلك من أجل التعافي من الإصابة التي تعرض لها بلقاء الإسماعيلي الاخير بالدوري الممتاز.

ووضع الجهاز الطبي برنامجا خاصا للونش من اجل تعافيه من الإصابة وتجهيزه للمرحلة المقبلة، حيث يتم بشكل دوري خضوعه لفحوصات وآشعة للاطمئنان على حالته، والتي تحسنت كثيرًا.

على جانب أخر، يواصل محمد عبد الشافي الظهير الأيسر للزمالك، البرنامج التأهيلي الموضوع له للعودة للتدريبات، حيث قطع شوطًا مًهما في مشوار التعافي والعودة بشكل تام.

Wilfried Zaha is ready to leave Crystal Palace, per the Daily Mail.

The winger, who previously left for Manchester United only to return to his boyhood club, has revealed his desire to play in the Champions League.

What’s the word?

Zaha has taken in two spells at Selhurst Park during his career.

The attacker came through the youth ranks at the club, initially joining in 2004 at the age of 12, and earned a move to United in 2013, becoming the final signing ever made by Sir Alex Ferguson.

However, his spell turned sour and loans with Cardiff City and then Palace followed, with the latter move made permanent in 2015 for a reported fee of £6million.

It now appears that another transfer will soon be in the offing, with Zaha, who has scored eight goals and laid on eight assists this season, suggesting to the Mail that he is open to the idea of a departure as he looks to play regular Champions League football.

He said: “For me to be better, to achieve what I know I am capable of, I have to aim to play at the very highest level, to win trophies. I’m blessed to have come this far in my playing career. But I feel like there is so much more I have to offer.

“I have to experience the Champions League. I just need the opportunity, that’s it. And I’ll do the rest.”

The Mail go on to claim that Palace are unlikely to accept any bids below £50million for a player who signed a new contract last summer.

However, they also state that Palace could be tempted into cashing in this summer, with Arsenal, United, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur all touted as possible destinations.

Tread carefully

Zaha is currently a big fish in a small pond. But we have seen that he can struggle to adapt to the current when moved into an ocean, as happened at United.

He has clearly matured since that episode but the grass isn’t always greener.

Zaha knows this, and he clearly backs himself to make the step up. He has already misjudged his own ability once, however, and there’s no doubt Palace’s style of play suits his game – leaving lots of space for him to gallop into on the counter-attack. He might find life a lot tougher at a top club, facing deep-sitting defences every week.

He should tread very carefully before making his next move.

With a League One title on the horizon and promotion to the Championship coming along with it, Luton are set for a massive summer of interest.

Some of the Hatters best players will be subject to interest from clubs above them in the English football pyramid, with League One Player of the Season James Collins likely to be targeted after another 20+ goal campaign for Luton.

But, out of all the players in Mick Harford’s team that will be targeted this summer, James Justin is likely to be at the centre of attention.

The full-back has been one of the breakout stars in the Football League this season, scoring three goals and assisting seven for Luton and establishing himself as one of most promising players outside the Premier League in England.

At 21, there’s every chance he could be of interest to sides higher up the footballing ladder looking for a new first-team full-back, but for Luton, it is their duty to keep hold of the Englishman if they are promoted from League One.

The Hatters academy product has what it takes to succeed in the Championship, and although it might seem like a good idea to cash in on Justin if a big bid comes in for him, the defender could be worth a lot more after a full season in the English second-tier and could be an essential clog to Luton remaining in the league.

Justin may be subject to big bids this summer, but for Luton, it is up to them to keep hold of their prized asset for the benefit of their long-term future.
