أكد عبد المنعم شطة العضو السابق باللجنة الفنية للاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم على سعادته بتعاقد الأهلي مع بيتسو موسيماني لتدريب الفريق الأول خلال الفترة المقبلة.

وأعلن النادي الأهلي تعاقده مع المدرب الجنوب إفريقي بيتسو موسيماني خلفا للسويسري رينيه فايلر.

وقال شطة خلال لقاء عبر قناة “الأهلي”: “طوال فترة عملي في الاتحاد الإفريقي كنت أعمل على تطوير المدرب الإفريقي، والأهلي دائما سبّاق، بأن يخوض هذه التجربة ويعين مديرا فنيا إفريقيا”.

وتابع: “موسيماني مدرب محترف، قابلته في كأس العالم عندما كان مساعدا، لديه تاريخ مع صن داونز وحقق الكثير من البطولات، الاختيار كان موفقًا 100%، لأن الظروف متشابهه بين الأهلي وصن داونز بالإضافة إلى أنه يعرف المارد الأحمر بشكل جيد جدا وليس غريبا عنه”.

وأضاف: “موسيماني يلعب بشكل هجومي من أجل المكسب وهذه نفس فلسفة الكرة الأوروبية، وهو حضر أكثر من دورة في أوروبا ولديه خبرات كثيرة، يخلط بين الفكر الأوروبي والإفريقي”.

وأتم: “أتمنى من لاعبي الأهلي أن يتعاملوا مع موسيماني على أنه مدرب محترف، يجب أن يتعاملوا معه بحذر شديد، لأنه شخصية قوية ولن يجامل أحدا، هو لا يسعى وراء المال وترك صن داونز في قمة تألقه ليأتي للأهلي ويحقق تاريخا له”.

رفض يورجن كلوب المدير الفني لفريق ليفربول استغلال غياب النجمين أليسون بيكر وساديو ماني، عن مباراة أستون فيلا أمس، كعذر بالنسبة له لتبرير هزيمتهم الثقيلة.

وسقط ليفربول بسبعة أهداف مقابل هدفين، في ختام منافسات الجولة الرابعة من الدوري الإنجليزي في فيلا بارك.

ولم يشارك الحارس البرازيلي أليسون بيكر بسبب إصابته في الكتف، بينما غاب السنغالي ساديو ماني بسبب إصابته بفيروس كورونا.

وقال كلوب، في تصريحات نشرتها شبكة “جول” العالمية: “هذا من أجل الجماهير والصحفيين، لست بحاجة إلى عذر واحد”.

وأوضح الألماني: “مهما كان الفريق الذي أملكه الليلة، لا أتوقع الخسارة 7-2، كان أداء أستون فيلا جيدًا حقًا ولكننا ساعدناه أيضًا، مباراة بمثل هذا الشكل لا ينبغي أن تحدث بنسبة 100 %، لكن لا علاقة بذلك باللاعبين الغائبين، أو من حلوا محلهم”.

According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool are reportedly willing to cut their losses on Naby Keita with both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund interested in signing the midfielder.

What’s the word, then?

Well, the Reds only signed the Guinean back in the summer for a fee of around £48m, a sum that seemed justified given Keita’s impressive form over in Germany.

However, Liverpool fans are yet to see the best of the 24-year-old in his first season at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp initially opted to bed him in slowly rather than throw him in from the start on a weekly basis, but Keita is still yet to establish himself as a first-team regular.

A period last month saw Keita make four successive starts for Liverpool, in which he appeared to finally have hit his rhythm before being inexplicably dropped by Klopp – he is yet to start a game since the 0-0 draw against Bayern Munich at Anfield.

Now, according to the aforementioned report, both of Germany’s top clubs are believed to have held discussions with the player’s representatives.

Giving up on him too soon?

It mustn’t be forgotten just how highly-rated Keita was when Liverpool were vying with clubs like Barcelona for his signature – the Reds even felt the need to secure the midfielder’s signature early before effectively loaning him back to RB Leipzig for 12 months, as they fended off interest from elsewhere.

Keita has shown glimpses of what he’s all about despite struggling for consistent starts – his ability to pick the ball up from deep and dribble it into dangerous areas, where he can pick out an inch-perfect through ball or test the keeper, is a huge feature of his game.

Liverpool’s midfield has been criticised for a lack of creativity recently, with too many workmanlike midfielders such as Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum and James Milner at Klopp’s disposal and not enough crafty players like Philippe Coutinho.

Given the huge amount of effort they put into getting Keita to Anfield, coupled with the fact that he is only 24, means that the Premier League title hopefuls shouldn’t give up on the direct midfielder after just one season in red.

فاز فريق الجونة، علي نظيره وادي دجلة، بهدفين دون رد، في المباراة التي أقيمت اليوم الأربعاء، في إطار منافسات الدوري المصري الممتاز.

الجونة واجه وادي دجلة، علي ملعب استاد الأهلي وي السلام، ضمن مواجهات الأسبوع الـ33 من عمر المسابقة المحلية.

وسجل هدف الجونة الأول، هداف الفريق والتر بواليا في الدقيقة 68، بعد استغلاله لبطء حارس دجلة في لعب الكرة، واستطاع خطف الكرة ووضعها بسهولة في المرمي.

وأحرز الهدف الثاني للجونة، ناصر ناصر، من تسديدة صاروخية من خارج منطقة الجزاء، سكنت أقصى الزاوية اليسرية لحارس دجلة حسين ذكري.

وكان الحكم محمد الحنفي احتسب ركلة الجزاء لصالح الجونة بعد عرقلة لـ بواليا من حارس دجلة حسين ذكري داخل منقطة الجزاء، إلا أن الحكم ألغي قراره بعد الرجوع إلي تقنية الفيديو “الفار”، وذلك في الدقيقة 45 في نهاية الشوط الأول.

ورفع والتر بواليا، رصيده من الأهداف إلى 13 هدفًا ليحتل وصافة ترتيب الهدافين بعد عبد الله السعيد لاعب بيراميدز المتصدر بـ17 هدفًا.

وبهذا الفوز يتواجد الجونة في المركز الثالث عشر في ترتيب الدوري، برصيد 37 نقطة، فيما يحتل وادي دجلة المركز الخامس عشر بـ 35 نقطة.

As things stand, Arsenal are surely set to release Denis Suarez back to Barcelona in the summer after failing to impress manager Unai Emery or making no real impact so far in his time in the Premier League. As per the terms of his loan agreement, the former Manchester City youngster will be making the trip back to the Camp Nou having achieved a whole lot of nothing in north London. 

To be honest Arsenal fans, he’s been even more invisible than Mesut Ozil in a big game.

Still, having played only 67 minutes in total in the league and 28 minutes in the Europa League it is a bit unfair from the club to say or suggest that he hasn’t pulled his weight – something he recently hit back on – or offered Arsenal anything yet to get excited about.

The Gunners completed a loan move for Suarez in January, with the option to buy him on a permanent deal in the summer and given the big names currently at Barcelona, it is hard to see him go back to the Spanish giants and claim a spot in the first-team. Arsenal, though, are a club who might actually benefit from his services in the long run and could still find him of high value should he be at the club for a full season.

It was also always going to be difficult for Emery to hand Suarez regular starts in order to prove himself to the manager given it’s a stage of the season where the Gunners can’t really afford to experiment with new players.

Emery has done an excellent job in getting Arsenal back into the top-four but still has a couple of big matches away from home to focus on before the end of the season, meaning it is highly unlikely that the manager would use those matches as an opportunity to start Suarez and let him complete a full 90 minutes.

The timing of Suarez having to show his worth to the manager has just been wrong, which makes it unfair of the club to say he hasn’t done enough to warrant a permanent contract at Arsenal.

Of course, sealing a permanent deal for the Spaniard could be seen as risky as he hasn’t exactly done that much of late but that can be put down to the lack of minutes he’s received on the field.

Although, whether Arsenal play in the Champions League next season or not, they should consider the future of the club and make him part of Emery’s plans to make Arsenal a powerhouse once again.

Derby County are currently leading the race for Aberdeen’s Graeme Shinnie according to Football Insider. However, Sheffield United are also showing interest.

What’s the word?

Shinnie is out of contract at Aberdeen in the summer and a host of clubs in Scotland and England are chasing the midfielder, says Football Insider.

But last weekend it was reported that the Scot would choose between Sheffield United and Bristol City as his next club.

Both teams have made offers for the player but it’s now their Championship rivals Derby who are in pole position to sign him.

Shinnie has caught the eye with his performances in the SPL and made his Scotland debut last year.

Perfect ingredients for Wilder

Scottish football may not be at its peak but Shinnie would be a shrewd signing for Sheffield United if they were to take their interest forward.

He’s a typical Chris Wilder player and would fit the mould at the club perfectly. He is currently captain of Aberdeen and would, therefore, bring leadership qualities to a Blades squad which already includes the authoritative Billy Sharp.

Wilder is a manager who knows how to drive 100% out his players and in Shinnie he’d have no trouble in instilling this, such is the 27-year-old’s character.

The Yorkshire club’s system involves some players having to bolster versatility and this is another key ingredient Shinnie can add to the squad.

Primarily a midfielder, he can also play at left-back, an area of the squad that could do with improving with Enda Stevens taking the brunt of the responsibility at left wing-back.

Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter in demanding fashion, with many questioning Jurgen Klopp’s judgement in starting Jordan Henderson over Fabinho.

The Brazilian international changed the game when he came on in the 76th minute, winning twice as many aerial duels as Henderson did throughout his entire time on the pitch, whilst he was also pivotal in breaking down Spurs’ attacks with some vital interventions.

Fabinho has started just 17 Premier League games out of a possible 32 for the Reds this season as Klopp opts to rotate his side in order to contend with domestic and European football, but it is criminal to leave the 25-year-old out when he is clearly so effective at what he does.

Henderson – Klopp’s skipper – doesn’t offer as much as Fabinho, and fans have been quick to pick up on this dilemma despite the Reds’ last-gasp win over Tottenham.
