Arsenal aren't worried about having a potential fight on their hands to sign Declan Rice this summer as speculation continues to grow over his future, according to journalist Dean Jones.

What's the latest transfer news involving Declan Rice?

According to Football Insider, Rice had 'verbally agreed personal terms' with Arsenal over a prospective move to the Emirates; however, the Gunners and West Ham United are yet to agree a fee for the England international.

The report states that the Hammers are holding out for around £100 million to sanction the departure of Rice, though Arsenal value the 24-year-old at around £80-85 million.

As per journalist Jose Felix Diaz via METRO, Bayern Munich are also keen on signing Rice and their manager Thomas Tuchel believes that he can be a star at the Allianz Arena.

It is believed that the German champions will have held talks with the £60k-a-week ace and may be willing to shatter their transfer record to bring him to the Bundesliga in the summer.

Sky Sports detail that Rice is a target for Manchester United in the off-season, something which could potentially create a tug-of-war race to sign the West Ham United captain.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, journalist Jones doesn't think that Arsenal will be particularly worried about interest from other quarters in Rice.

Jones said: "They're not that worried about the interest from Bayern Munich from everything I hear. Arsenal have been in this conversation behind the scenes using intermediaries for a while now. They are in the best position to move things forward."

Rice, who has been described as a "great coup" for whoever gets him out of Bayern Munich and Arsenal, is an excellent all-action midfielder and has been a key player for West Ham United this campaign due to his consistent level of performance throughout.

In 2022/23, before West Ham United's Europa Conference League final tie against Fiorentina on Wednesday, the Englishman has made 49 appearances in all competitions, registering five goals and four assists, as per Transfermarkt.

The Bangladesh team management have made Sabbir Rahman aware of the danger he faces of getting suspended after he accrued three demerit points under the ICC’s updated code of conduct.He has been punished twice in the space of two weeks since the new system was introduced on September 22, and along with India allrounder Ravindra Jadeja, who is also on three points, will be on a good behaviour watch list for the next two years.This is because if they accrue one more point during this period (totalling four points), it will be converted into suspension points which will determine how many matches a player will then miss. The number of demerit points range from one to eight depending on the level of offence the player is charged with. Four points would equate to two suspension points which means they would miss one Test or a combination of ODIs and T20s.Bangladesh manager Khaled Mahmud said they have told Sabbir to be careful of his behaviour, especially with his celebration that brought him the second punishment.”We have already spoken to him about the risk that he is facing regarding the suspensions,” Mahmud said. “He is aware where he stands. After what happened in the last game, I think he has to tone down his celebrations, avoid doing what he did in that incident. He can obviously celebrate but within the appropriate limits.”Sabbir’s first incident was during the first ODI against Afghanistan on September 25 when he argued with umpire Sharfuddoula over a leg-before decision. The next offence was when he and Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza were penalised for “overstepping their celebration” against England.In another change from the old regulations, after serving a ban the player’s disciplinary slate will not be automatically rubbed clean in terms of the demerit points. The points under the 2016 regulations would hold for the next 24 months, and in case of further penalties, add up and will move onto five and above, reaching the next level of suspension – eight and above demerit points – which then make a player liable to be banned for two Tests. The demerit points would only be wiped clean after 24 months.Mahmud however said that the new system is easier for players to understand where they stand in terms of breaching the code of conduct.”I think the new system is quite helpful to the players,” Mahmud said. “They now know where they stand in terms of the demerit points. Previously he may have been suspended after the second incident but now he has another chance.”

Following a couple of rather hectic transfer windows, things are expected to be slightly quieter at Nottingham Forest this summer as they aim to strengthen what they have, rather than completely overhaul a squad that performed well in avoiding Premier League relegation.

That is not to say a number of talented players will not be arriving at the City Ground in the coming months, with Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams the latest to be linked with the Reds.

How did Tyler Adams perform for Leeds in the Premier League?

According to the Daily Mail, Forest are hoping to poach Adams from managerless Leeds, though they may yet face competition from Premier League heavyweights Manchester United for the 24-year-old's signature.

Adams was brought to Leeds from RB Leipzig by Jesse Marsch last July for a reported £20m, but his first season at Elland Road did not exactly go to plan as Leeds dropped out of the top flight.

Not helped by the departure of American compatriot Marsch in February, Adams was unable to entirely replicate the form that saw him emerge as one of the hottest talents around during his time at Leipzig.

However, the United States international still showed signs of promise in his first season in English football, as reflected by his seasonal rating of 6.6 by WhoScored last season – a higher rating than Ryan Yates and Danilo at Forest.

What can Tyler Adams bring to Forest?

Having also caught the eye for his country at the World Cup last year, with football reporter Wes Rucker describing him as a "machine" for his group-stage performances, it seems increasingly likely Adams will not be plying his trade in the Championship next season.

That could be good news for Forest boss Steve Cooper, who will no doubt see plenty of potential in a possible midfield pairing of Adams and Morgan Gibbs-White, who is coming off the back of a hugely impressive season.

Adams, who at a cost of around £13m – as per Football Observatory – would be considered a low-risk transfer in the current market, showed in his first Premier League season that he can more than hold his own in the centre of the pitch.

Indeed, with 89 tackles, he ranked fourth in the entire division in that metric. To put that figure into further context, Remo Freuler was the highest-ranked Forest midfielder on the list with 43, placing him down in 110th.

Adams (50) also ranked second, behind only Joao Palhinha (71) for dribblers tackled in last season's Premier League, while he ranked tenth among players for tackles and interceptions combined (129).

There is a clear need for someone at Forest who can break up attacks and get the ball into the feet of the highly talented Gibbs-White, who was named the club's Player of the Season after scoring five goals and delivering eight assists last season. That is where Adams comes into the equation.

Not only is Adams a gifted footballer, he also showed during an awkward news conference in Qatar last year that he can hold his own off the field just as much as he can on it, earning praise from Gary Lineker for being an "exceptionally bright young footballer" who handled the line of questioning "intelligently and gracefully."

If a calmer transfer window is what Forest are after this summer, they should look no further than Adams to help provide further ammunition for star man Gibbs-White.

Celtic are reportedly close to securing their replacement for Ange Postecoglou as Brendan Rodgers inches closer to a return to Parkhead this month.

Bringing the 37-year-old tactician in as part of Rodgers' staff could be a masterclass of a move by Desmond this summer for several reasons.

Firstly, the retired midfielder has a pre-existing relationship with the Celtic supporters and would be able to instantly reconnect with the fans in the stadium. He spent 14 years at the club as a player and should know exactly what the paying punters expect and demand from the side week-in-week-out.

The tenacious enforcer made a staggering 614 appearances for the Hoops during his playing career and won 23 domestic trophies in that time, including ten Scottish Premiership titles. This means that he knows the standards that are required to consistently dominate football in Scotland and can, therefore, make sure that the current squad is keeping up with that.

His performance in charge of Fleetwood in League One in the 22/23 campaign also suggests that he has the coaching ability to be an excellent addition to Rodgers' staff.

They had finished 15th and 20th in League One in the previous two seasons and the ex-Celtic man led them to a 13th-placed finish in the division. He also won four of his six FA Cup matches in charge of the club to take them to the fifth round for the first time in their entire history.

Former teammate Gary Caldwell hailed the Bhoys legend's work with Fleetwood as "fantastic" and the statistics back that up as Brown progressed the side in both the league and cup competitions.

Therefore, the 37-year-old boss could be an exceptional addition to Rodgers' staff if he is willing to make the move back to Parkhead due to his relationship with the supporters, his coaching pedigree, and his knowledge of what is needed to win consistently in Scotland.
